Google Play Store versi per 28 Februari lalu, tercatat sejumlah aplikasi Dropper dengan memanfaatkan fungsi Direct Reply Android untuk menyebar ke perangkat lain. Dengan begitu Sharkbot menjadi trojan perbankan kedua setelah Flubot yang dapat mencegah notifikasi adanya serangan wormable.
